We completed a full refurbishment of a 1950’s empty property in Bedfordshire that had not been lived in for over two years. This projects was expected to last around 35 weeks. Our company was put forward to tender by a local architectural firm based in Hertfordshire, we met the clients to discuss the project in more detail and was awarded the job. We dealt with the clients directly from the beginning, discussing there specification and design ideas. This project took a lot of planning and forward thinking due to the poor condition of the existing building.
Our site team had to constantly think about the safety way to structural support what was staying while building the extension and changing the layout internally. There was a lot of focus on key items like windows, external doors and bathroom layouts which took a lot of Oliver's time up during the project. The client had very specific requirements that we had to achieve.
